myNTU is the official web portal that provides one-stop access to information about university affairs and administrative services across all NTU campuses. The webpage is divided into 9 sections, namely Students, Courses, Faculty and Staff, Teaching, Research, Facilities, Resource, Bulletins, and Opinions.
When you sign in using your NTU Internet account username, myNTU directs you to online administrative information and services available to you based on your identity and level of access. Internet Service Account
Your NTU Internet service account is required if you wish to gain access to the university’s numerous information systems. Please complete the online application as soon as possible after receiving your faculty or staff number. The NTU information systems requiring your account username/password include email, personal web pages, cloud computing services, wireless Internet, virtual private networks, Internet teaching platforms, downloading of licensed software, personnel attendance, project accounting inquiries, financial management, and procurement applications.

NTU Mail – Email Service
NTU Mail email service provides the NTU faculty with stable, secure email accounts that feature high storage volume and mobile synchronization. Email addresses are constructed as username@ntu.edu.tw. In addition to 20 gigabytes of storage space, NTU Mail offers email readers and interfaces, as well as synchronization of emails, contacts, and calendars for smart phone users. All emails are filtered through a secure system in order to ensure junk mail and viruses do not enter personal email boxes.

Virtual Machine Services (NTU VM)
NTU’s cloud computing services include NTU VM (virtual machine) and NTU Space (cloud storage). NTU VM allows research groups to address their host management and security needs, facilitating their research and operating progress. Upon application, each new faculty member will be given a VM (1 processor, 1G memory, 50G storage and Anti-hacking software) free of charge for the first three years. The service can be extended on a rental bases after the quoted payment has been made. NTU Space provides 40 gigabytes of always-accessible storage space as well as file sharing and cloud printing services.

NTU VDI
Service Description/The NTU VDI uses the latest cloud computing technology to provide cross-platform virtual desktop services. Unbounded by space, location, and equipment, faculty members and students can easily access the software and services provided by the Computer and Information Networking Center to conduct academic research. The NTU VDI provides a cross-platform and cross-device connection method, allowing users to access the NTU VDI via any browser. Users may also install VMware Horizon Client on any device to fully utilize the NTU VDI.

Originality Check
Service Description/It helps professors check the originality of unpublished written works to reduce the possibility of plagiarized theses. The Cool Platform of the Office of Academic Affairs has also integrated with Turnitin. Professors may check student homework and theses of graduate students via the homework submission settings.
