myNTU is the official web portal that provides one-stop access to information about university affairs and administrative services across all NTU campuses. The webpage is divided into 9 sections, namely Students, Courses, Faculty and Staff, Teaching, Research, Facilities, Resource, Bulletins, and Opinions.

When you sign in using your NTU Internet account username, myNTU directs you to online administrative information and services available to you based on your identity and level of access. By signing in just once, you gain convenient access to a full range of online information and can handle numerous application and approval matters, meaning you don’t need to search through the websites of different offices and divisions or sign in separately for different services.

Internet Service Account

Your NTU Internet service account is required if you wish to gain access to the university’s numerous information systems. Please complete the online application as soon as possible after receiving your faculty or staff number. The NTU information systems requiring your account username/password include email, personal web pages, cloud computing services, wireless Internet, virtual private networks, Internet teaching platforms, downloading of licensed software, personnel attendance, project accounting inquiries, financial management, and procurement applications.

NTU Mail – Email Service

Service description/The Computer and Information Networking Center provides all faculty members with high capacity, stable, safe, and mobile e-mail services (username@ntu.edu.tw), and can support mail reading program, webpage interface, smartphone app, and synchronize e-mail, contacts, and calendar information. All e-mail pass through safety filter mechanisms, so that spam and e-mail containing viruses will not directly enter individual mailboxes.

Virtual Machine Services (NTU VMS)

Service Description/Cloud virtual machine services (NTU VMS) can help research teams resolve server installation and security needs, and accelerate research and services. After new faculty members report for duty, they may apply for VMS (1 CPU, 1G of memory, 50G of storage space, anti-virus software) for three years free of charge. A price quotation is provided before the service expires, and they may continue to use the service after making payment.

Cloud Storage Services (NTU Space)

NTU Cloud Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Service Description/The NTU VDI uses the latest cloud computing technology to provide cross-platform virtual desktop services. Unbounded by space, location, and equipment, faculty members and students can easily access the software and services provided by the Computer and Information Networking Center to conduct academic research. The NTU VDI provides a cross-platform and cross-device connection method, allowing users to access the NTU VDI via any browser. Users may also install VMware Horizon Client on any device to fully utilize the NTU VDI.

Originality Check

Service Description/It helps professors check the originality of unpublished written works to reduce the possibility of plagiarized theses. The Cool Platform of the Office of Academic Affairs has also integrated with Turnitin. Professors may check student homework and theses of graduate students via the homework submission settings. Service Description/It allows NTU users to link to the campus network and obtain on-campus IP addresses in non-NTU networks, so that they may have access to services that require a campus IP address, such as e-journals of the University Libraries. Users must apply for the VPN service of the Computer and Information Networking Center online to enable or disable their personal VPN accessibility at any time via the following website: http://changepassword.cc.ntu.edu.tw。
