NTU Press attended the 2018 Hong Kong Book Fair, planning a booth teamed “Building a City with Knowledge,” to celebrate NTU 90th Anniversary.

The Graduate Institute of Art History held the first event of Forums on “NTU Buildings and Landmarks in Taiwan’s Architectural History” in celebration of NTU 90th Anniversary.

The 24th NTU Art Festival opened on May 4 and lasted for a month, making our campus full of lively artistic exhibitions and activities. Featuring the “Memories of Our Days,” the festival invited artists to translate their thoughts and reflections regarding this motif into a wide array of art productions on campus.

The 2018 NTU World Carnival Festival opened in Lu-Ming Square on April 28. The NTUOSAOIA Singing Competition was held on the following day in the 1st Student Activity Center, providing a rich and colorful campus life for overseas students, students from Mainland China, and other international students at NTU.

2018.3.17 │ 50-Year Alumni Reunion

The 50-Year Alumni Reunion was held on March 17, 2018, where alumni who have graduated from NTU for 50 years gathered together to catch up with one another, reminisce about their student days at NTU, and look forward to the next gathering.

Prof. Neil Brenner of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD) was invited to give a public lecture on “Is the World Urban?” which attracted a large, interested audience.

 

2018.1.24-1.26 │ 2018 Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Taiwan (TPS)

In celebration of NTU 90th Anniversary, the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Taiwan (TPS) was hosted by the NTU Department of Physics this year. This meeting drew the attendance of approximately 2,000 people, and was held simultaneously in the Liberal Education Classroom Building, Core Subjects Classroom Building, and NTU Gymnasium.
