Domestic lumber is a sustainable and renewable ecological material (eco-material), having low processing, low energy consumption, low CO2 emissions, low pollution emissions, easy natural decomposition, and reusability.

Therefore, to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of National Taiwan University, the NTU Agricultural Exhibition Hall will provide domestic wood material for DIY activities so that we can hand-craft small stools using the traditional jointing process!

We look forward for everyone to experience traditional wood craft with beautiful domestic materials!

‘Our Unexpected Arthropod Housemates’ Exhibition

The opening ceremony of ‘Our Unexpected Arthropod Housemates’ (我家蟲住民) exhibition was held at Agricultural Exhibition Hall, NTU on May 8th, 2021.

This exhibition creates a feeling of home and presents common insects and arthropods in different home spaces. Cute drawings of arthropods help people to alleviate fear of insects and learn more about them.

People can also seek out traces of live arthropods within the exhibition hall and learn about these household roommates through interesting insect facts and interactive games.
