  • Sixty Years of Springlike Elegance on the Grand Avenue: A Commemorative Exhibition for Academician Tseng Yungyi

    Academician Tseng Yungyi (1941-2022) enrolled in the Department of Chinese Literature at National Taiwan University in 1959 and continued his scholarly pursuits until the publication of The History of the Evolution of Chinese Opera in 2021, spanning a remarkable 60 years. With a wealth of publications, he was renowned for his profound expertise in classical poetry and his dedication to writing scripts for Peking and Kunqu operas. Over the years, his works have been widely celebrated both domestically and internationally. The National Taiwan University Library has digitized and preserved the manuscripts of Tseng's poetry, prose, and plays. In conjunction with the release of two new books, the library is hosting a special exhibition that commemorates his rich achievements in opera research and scriptwriting, showcasing his manuscripts and related audiovisual materials.

  • NTU Museums Guided Tour

    The NTU Museums were founded on Nov 15, 2007. To date, there are a total of 11 museums in the NTU Museum Group. In celebration of this year’s NTU Azalea Festival, the NTU Museums and the Visitor Center are again working together to invite the general public to appreciate the intellectual beauty of the Museum’s collections and bear witness to a blossoming future of the museums.

    The Fu Lu Cultural Foundation will host the "bulabulay/Our Glory-Special Exhibition of Precious Material Culture of Indigenous Taiwan" at the Gallery of NTU History’s Chyun-liu Exhibition Hall. The exhibition will showcase a variety of important artifacts from Taiwan’s Indigenous peoples across seven major areas: Archaeological Interpretations, Bead Culture Complex, Clouded Leopard, Heirlooms of Power, Never-ending Creations, Handcrafted Achievements, and Silver Helmet. Simultaneously, the exhibition connects to significant Indigenous artifacts housed in the NTU Museum of Anthropology. Through the various important Indigenous artifacts in the two exhibition areas, audiences will gain a deeper understanding of these rich and vibrant cultures.

  • Wang Dahong and his Campus Architecture at National Taiwan University

    Wang Dahong was one of the first-generation architects in Taiwan after its retrocession, active from the 1950s to the 1980s. His first architectural project in Taiwan was designing his own residence, followed by iconic public buildings such as the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which brought him widespread fame. This time, we are organizing the special exhibition "The Last Nobleman—Wang Dahong and His Campus Architecture at NTU." Through this exhibition, we aim to share the architectural aesthetics rooted in the daily lives of NTU faculty and students, thereby fostering greater awareness and appreciation of campus architecture among the NTU community.

  • The Seventh NTU Calligraphy Award Exhibition

    The NTU Calligraphy Award, now in its 8th year, is one of NTU's most iconic annual calligraphy competitions. This year, the exhibition features award-winning works from the 7th NTU Calligraphy Award, displayed at the Liberal Education Center’s art space. Accompanying the exhibition is the "Love Letter Workshop," inviting the public to experience the beauty of Chinese characters and calligraphy.

    The "Fun Farm Event" is a full-scale activity organized by NTU Farm on the occasions of the Azalea Festival and school anniversary celebration. During the Azalea Festival, the event features guided tours of the Rice Fragrance Pavilion, the Fun Farm Market, and more. This includes exhibitions and sales of agricultural products from various farm operations as well as a variety of hands-on activity sessions.

    Guided tours of the Rice Fragrance Pavilion, exhibitions and sales of farm produce and processed goods from each group (with on-site discounts), and product showcases by partnering vendors.
    2.Fun Farm Market Activities
    During the event, on-site DIY booths offer drop-in, instructor-led sessions, including: Round moss balls, seed pendants, succulent cement pots, herbal aroma bottles, dried flower diffuser slices, left-hand incense mosquito-repellent and itch-relief spray, okra lotion, floral grass-head dolls, hanging basket combo planters, therapeutic leaf-print pillows, cheesecake mini planters, and cat-can succulents.
    3.Pre-Registration with Payment
    Visit the NTU Farm official website, go to the "Event News" section, select the desired session, and complete the online registration and payment within the specified deadline. After payment, collect your receipt on the event day and present it to participate in the DIY experience activities.
