NTU Museums Guided Tour

The NTU museums were founded on Nov 15, 2007. To date, there are a total of 10 museums in the NTU Museum Group. In celebration of this year’s NTU Azalea Festival, the NTU Museums and the Visitor Center are again working together to invite the general public to appreciate the intellectual beauty of the collections and bear witness to a blossoming future of the museums.
Online registration is required.
- Maximum of 15-20 for each tour
- Registrants will receive a confirmation email on March 2 (Thu).
- Please contact us (patwu@ntu.edu.tw) if you are unable to attend.
- Registrants check in at Visitor Center Pavilion at NTU Main Gate at 13:15; those failing to check in before 13:25 will be deemed as failure of registration. The vacancies will be given to waitlisted registrants.
- Each participant will receive a souvenir of the NTU Museums
- Please prepare your own bottled water, sunscreen lotions, and mosquito repellent products
- The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program

Arching Nature: A glimpse through the natural history collections from the Taihoku Imperial University period

The assorted landscape in Taiwan nourish extraordinary biodiversity, which attracted early settlers and natural explorers from various places. The westerners in the nineteenth century and the succeeding Japanese scholars all astonished the diverse ecology from this small island and left tremendous records and collections. This exhibition selected items of natural history specimens, documents, and artifacts from NTU, focused on the period of Taihoku Imperial University. It will show specimens from faculties and students’ collections and also archives from the museums, in a hope to demonstrate the research faces of natural history study at Taiwan in the early twentieth century.

The 16th Jinshi Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition

(1) Open for free visits: Docents will give a tour at Daoxiang Village.
(2) DIY activities:
The venue is in the atrium of the NTU farm and the classroom of the Daoxiang Village. There are five DIY items available on site.
(3) Register online and pay:
Click on the relevant courses on the official website of the NTU Farm - "Event Express," and fill in the registration information and pay the fee to register. After paying the fee, receive the invoice on the day of the activity, and attend the DIY activities with the invoice.
