The 9th International Forum on Advanced Technologies and The 4th Japan-Taiwan International Engineering Forum

The 9th international forum on Advanced Technologies (IFAT 2023) will be held at Taiwan Tech on March 7-9. The objective of the Forum is to focus on the issues of the researches collaborated by National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Tokushima University (TU) and Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech). The forum is expected to attract a wide range of academics, scientists, researchers, students, and industrialists. The forum will give opportunities to exchange experiences and researches on a variety of advanced technologies. Through the presentations coupled with critical discussions and social interactions, it will give a platform for promoting future collaborations and industrial applications.
At the same time, in continuation of the 4th Taiwan-Japan Engineering Forum, scholars from the 6U-HAPPIER Alliance (Hokkaido University, Tohoku University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Nagoya University, Osaka University, Kyushu University), composed of former Imperial Universities of Japan, and from the National Taiwan University System (National Taiwan University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan Normal University), and from Tokyo University and Kyoto University, will gather outstanding young scholars from Taiwan and Japan to present and discuss the research trends in the field of engineering.

This activity aims to promote book reading and help cultivate the lifelong habit of book-reading at the campus of NTU system.

The two-day forum will explore the current status and trends of internationalization and international cooperation in higher education among various countries, exploring topics such as international strategic partnerships, international academic exchanges, global virtual exchange, global alumni relations, international student recruitment, transnational education and internships, English as a medium of instruction, and overseas Mandarin teaching.
